This particular bible verse resonates alot with me. Because it sure reminds me of stuff about my personal life... which I dont really talk about much online... I drop clues here and there though. hahaha.

Firstly, darkness never extinguishes anything at all, ever. Darkness is the perceived absence of light.
Secondly, humans have never observed any case where light and energy doesn't radiate outward, and thus we have visible light and heat, in the first place. Light always shines, right? This means that inevitably, it will always extinguish itself when it runs out of fuel. This is described by Isaac Newton's second law of thermodynamics. This law cannot be repealed, and is observed by all people everywhere throughout time, consistently. There's another law that says fuel cannot be endless, but it takes some time to make this observation. But hey, for the short time that we are here, let's keep our own lamps shining bright for all to see, okay?

Hehe... I appreciate the physics lesson.

But treat it more in a metaphorical sense if you dont believe in God and all that.
