I have to say I disagree with Lucia. To love and love again it takes a lot of strength… to not fear love takes bravery. Letting your fear of being weak run you is the only way to achieve weakness.

Or at least that's my 2 cents. ^_^ Great job, I'll really look forward to Monday.

Love may just be a bunch of hormones but so is fear and hate and anger. The ability to love and empathize with others is what makes humans strong.

I never saw love as a weakness.

It truly depends on what your definition of 'love' is. What most people would call 'love' (as in "falling in love") I think of as 'attraction'. I think that love is not a romantic or sexual feeling, but instead the act of taking trouble for another, without an ulterior motive. "God is love" gets a whole lot easier to understand, and broader in its meaning if this is the definition of love.

By this definition, she is wrong, since astral beings could take trouble for others.

Will have to disagree. Too much emphasis is put on the "intellect" which is faulty enough already. Love goes beyond that I think but I'm not talking about love in a romantic sense.
I personally think romantic love is a weakness/hormone thing though.

Her reasoning is absolutely faulty here. Love may be based on hormones, but so does pretty much everything that has to do with the human body. That does not make it lesser than anything else to do with humans.

It's the same reason I can't stand the forced "moral" in Chobits. So what if her love was just a complicated simulation? Aren't our brains just organic computers, running their own little simulations?

Our brains are organs put there as part of the design of our Creator.

Our mind and our soul... is what enables LOVE.

Sadly though, this type of reasoning process I've heard from people who get too numbed out by and broken by all the wickedness this world has to offer. So its either numb out your heart or repent and accept the spirit of God.

Have a nice day, God bless!

I'm currently agnostic, I believe that there is some sort of higher power (I don't believe in coincidences and too much of reality screams intelligent design) but I think that no religion on earth has or ever will understand this higher power. Frankly, if someone exists that is beyond space, beyond time, and beyond knowledge, their existence would be so far beyond our limited capacity for understanding that they'd be closer to Cthulhu in nature than the Christian God.

I was once in the same boat as you until I've experienced and met God.

No religion on earth can fathom God. Yes you're right. Jesus said "I am the way the truth the life". He said nothing about religion. In fact, he rebuked the pharisees multiple times. Most of these religions have false doctrine to begin with that lead people astray. See blog section of this comic where false religions are tackled and destroyed one by one.

That's why I became atheist for a time period. Because of these deceptions all over the planet earth.

It all changed when I met God. And I hope you meet him too so he would bless you. :)
