I have to say I disagree with Lucia. To love and love again it takes a lot of strength… to not fear love takes bravery. Letting your fear of being weak run you is the only way to achieve weakness.

Love may just be a bunch of hormones but so is fear and hate and anger. The ability to love and empathize with others is what makes humans strong.

It truly depends on what your definition of 'love' is. What most people would call 'love' (as in "falling in love") I think of as 'attraction'. I think that love is not a romantic or sexual feeling, but instead the act of taking trouble for another, without an ulterior motive. "God is love" gets a whole lot easier to understand, and broader in its meaning if this is the definition of love.

By this definition, she is wrong, since astral beings could take trouble for others.

Will have to disagree. Too much emphasis is put on the "intellect" which is faulty enough already. Love goes beyond that I think but I'm not talking about love in a romantic sense.
I personally think romantic love is a weakness/hormone thing though.
